"New job, New Beginnings: Dreambows' Journey Forward"

I hope this message finds you well and filled with the same warmth and love it was written with. Today, I want to share something personal with you all—my decision to go back to work and what it means for Dreambows.

For many years, Dreambows has been more than just a business to me—it's been a labour of love, a creative outlet, and a source of joy. But over the past four years, since the closure of schools, I've faced challenges that have led me to this decision.

When schools closed their doors, it was like the rug was pulled out from under Dreambows. Suddenly, my primary customer base vanished overnight, leaving me scrambling to adapt. Despite my best attempts to adapt and explore alternative avenues for sales, the truth remained harsh.

The past four years have been a rollercoaster of uncertainty and frustration. I poured my heart and soul into trying to keep Dreambows as my sole job, but it often felt like I was fighting an uphill battle. The pressure to make ends meet grew heavier with each passing month, overshadowing the joy I once found in my craft.

However, amidst the challenges, there was also growth. I learned invaluable lessons about resilience, perseverance, and the importance of adapting to change. And now, with the decision to go back to work, I can finally breathe a sigh of relief.

Accepting a new job signifies a pivotal moment for Dreambows. Freed from the weight of financial pressures, I'm now able to redirect my energy towards nurturing Dreambows as a dream for the future. It's an opportunity to rekindle the joy and inspiration in my craft, to revel in the beauty of handmade creations, and to persist in building a business that brings me immense fulfilment.

So as I embark on this new chapter, I want to express my deepest gratitude to each and every one of you who's been a part of this journey. Thank you for believing in Dreambows, for supporting me through the ups and downs, and for being the heart and soul of this little business.

I'm committed from this point forward to sharing every step of my endeavour through blogging. Whether you're a bow enthusiast, a fellow small-time crafter, or someone considering launching a craft business, I extend an invitation for you to join me. Each evening, I reflect on the day's events, eager to share stories from my ongoing journey—be it rooted in the present, looking towards the future, or reflecting on the past 16 years since my creative spark ignited.

As for growing a business? It's about shifting focus away from financial gain. By removing the desire for money, I've unburdened myself from the weight of expectation, allowing this 42-year-old dreamer to craft with passion and inspire others in the process.

If you read this far then thank you

With love, Shelly
